Leonard A. Johnson 4-H Barn

Barn

Leonard A. Johnson 4–H Barn — Grooming livestock and many hours of showmanship practice happen in the 4–H Barn. Livestock projects consist of beef, dairy, bucket calves, sheep, and feeder calves. At the end of the 4–H season, 200-300 people gather in the 4–H Barn to watch 4–H’ers display their 4–H livestock projects and receive Rawhide Wrangler 4–H Club awards.

Path to Barn

Path to 4–H Barn — 4–H’ers walk on this path from their cottage to the 4-H Farm to do chores or work with their livestock.

Garden

Garden — Vegetables from the garden are used as 4–H projects and as part of a meal.

Sheep

Sheep — A sheep project is a good way for a 4–H’er to learn patience.

Inside Barn 1

Grooming Chutes — 4–H’ers train their animals to be competitive show animals. Livestock also need to be groomed in order to be competitive. These chutes help hold livestock projects steady, so proper grooming can take place.

Tiger

Tiger — Tiger is everyone’s pet. His home is the 4–H Barn.
